Ruby Jo Pickrell, 82, Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at her home with her family at her bedside. She was born on October 18, 1939, to Clarence and Daisy (Doney) Webb in Sparta, Tenn.
Jo married Lawrence Pickrell on March 2, 1961. She retired from the Riverview Hospital business department. Jo was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and adored her granddaughter, Ashley. Jo loved cooking for her family and having them around her. She had a passion for traveling, spending winters in Florida, cooking, and tending to her garden. Jo had a bright, energetic personality and was full of life. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life.
Jo is survived by her husband of 60 years, Lawrence Pickrell; daughters, Lorraine Jones and Jeanette Pickrell; granddaughter, Ashley Jones; sisters, Hilda (Neal) Parsons and Shirley (Ray) Wilmoth; brother, David (Donna) Webb; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence Webb Jr., Gene Webb, and Cecil Webb.
Services will be held at 6:30 p.m., with visitation from 4 p.m. to the time of service, on Monday, December 20, 2021, at White River Christian Church, 1685 N. 10th St., Noblesville. Pastor Tim Brock and Pastor Fred Knoll will officiate.
Jo’s care has been entrusted to Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes of Noblesville.
