Hamilton Southeastern’s boys traveled to North Central on Tuesday and came home with a 70-64 victory.
The Royals led 16-7 after one quarter and led 27-11 in the second period. The Panthers cut that lead to 32-23 by halftime and stayed with Southeastern in the second half, but the Royals held on for the win.
Lucas Weemer had an outstanding game, reaching double-double status with 28 points and 10 rebounds, making five 3-pointers. Braeden Totten scored 13 points and dished out six assists, while Maverick Young added 12 points. Jack Jacobs handed out seven assists.
Southeastern is 7-5 and hosts Lawrence Central on Friday.
