Rosemary Plew, 94, Westfield, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Bloom at Willow in Indianapolis. She was born on December 23, 1930, to Lester and Hilda (Bolstad) Sparks in Barron, Wisconsin, and grew up in Chicago.
Rosemary married Robert Plew in June 1951. She was a homemaker and Master Gardener. Rosemary was a member of East 91st Street Christian Church. She enjoyed reading and had a passion for gardening.
She is survived by her children, Susan (Brian) Deckert, James Robert (Mary) Plew, and Daniel Plew; grandchildren, Tyler (Lisa) Plew, Jenna (Steve) Hough, Sarah (William Lingle) Plew, James (Shelley Bolor) Plew, and Ellen (Gregg) Husa; great-grandchildren, Roman Plew, Maeve Plew, Perla Plew, and James Plew; sister, Jeanine Farrell; and brother, Robert (Joanna) Sparks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Plew; and sister, Virginia “Ginny” Henkel.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis.
