Roscoe H. Gray, 79, Noblesville, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. He was born on September 22, 1938 to the late Roscoe and Bessie (Miller) Gray in Crawfordsville, Ind.
Roscoe was a truck driver and did odd jobs in his retirement. He proudly served in the National Guard and was a member of Hinkle Creek Friends Church. Roscoe loved eating out at various restaurants, enjoyed watching westerns and loved calling people. He was dedicated to his family and dedicated in his work ethic. Roscoe was a continuous provider with his heart and home open to extended family.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Shirley Gray; son, Tom Sumner; step-daughter, Amy Garrison; grandchildren, Braxton Gardner, Kaylee Xolio and Jadyn Gardner; great-grandchildren, Stephanie Sumner, Taylor Sumner, Joshua Sumner, Tara Solenberg and Ashlee Mandrell; 14 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Andrews and Mary Price; and his beloved dogs, BaeBae and Lexi
Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Hinkle Creek Friends Church, 21617 Hinkle Road, Noblesville, with visitation from 5 p.m. to the time of service. Rev. Jack Holiday will officiate.
