Rocks win road game at Harrison

Westfield picked up a Tuesday road victory at Harrison by the score of 62-53.

The Class 4A No. 6 Shamrocks steadily built their lead throughout the game, outscoring the Raiders in each quarter. Westfield led 14-10 after the first period and 29-14 at halftime. Drew Haffner made three 3-pointers in the first half for nine points, while Durante Morton scored eight points.

The ‘Rocks led 47-41 after three quarters. Will Harvey stepped up in the third, hitting two triples on his way to eight points. Brock Detamore helped Westfield finish things off, with six points in the fourth.

Four different Shamrocks scored in double figures. Haffner totaled four 3s while scoring 16 points, Detamore finished with 15, Harvey made three 3s on his way to 13 points and Morton totaled 12 points.

Westfield is 14-3 and plays Friday at Hamilton Heights.
