Westfield won an all-county game with University 85-52 Tuesday at CSI Gymnasium.
The Class 4A No. 3 Shamrocks led 26-17 after one quarter and 53-6 at halftime. The Trailblazers were within 17-14 in the first quarter before Westfield went on a 31-3 run, including 25 straight points. The Shamrocks’ lead was 71-42 after three quarters.
Four Westfield players reached double figures, starting with Trey Buchanan’s 28 points; he also made six 3-pointers. Nic Book added 14 points, with Charles Farrell scoring 11 and Will Harvey 10.
Montgomery Holland and Faisal Mohamud both had 10 points for University.
The Shamrocks are 17-2 and finish Hoosier Crossroads Conference play Friday by hosting Franklin Central. University is 10-10 and plays Saturday at Decatur Central.
