Westfield’s boys went on the road for their second game of the season and came home with a 55-37 victory over Pendleton Heights.
The Shamrocks got off to a solid start, leading 19-7 after one quarter. Will Harvey and Drew Haffner both scored six points. Harvey threw in two 3-pointers during the second period, which helped keep the ‘Rocks ahead 33-23 at halftime.
Both teams scored nine points in the third quarter, so Westfield led 42-32 going into the fourth. Durante Morton scored six points in the third. The Shamrocks took control in the fourth period, outscoring the Arabians 13-5 to clinch the win.
Morton led the ‘Rocks with 16 points, scoring in each quarter. Harvey scored 15 points, including three 3s.
Westfield is 2-0 and begins Hoosier Crossroads Conference play Friday with a game at Zionsville.
