‘Rocks pull away from Chatard

Westfield picked up a win on the road Wednesday, beating Bishop Chatard 52-42.
The Shamrocks got off to a good start, leading 21-14 after the first quarter. The Trojans came back to tie it up at 25-25 by halftime, but Westfield took control in the second half, outscoring Chatard 17-10 in the third.
Ava Henson led the scoring with 20 points, while Alyssa Crockett added 16, and came close to a double-double with nine rebounds. Jessica Castor collected eight rebounds, while Henson pulled six. Olivia Robey handed out six assists and Crockett blocked three shots.
The Shamrocks are 11-7 and host Hamilton Heights on Saturday.
