‘Rocks girls track wins dual

The Westfield girls track and field team won a home dual meet over Shelbyville on Tuesday, 114-17.
The Shamrocks swept all three relays, starting with the 4×800, which consisted of Julia Clark, Nezira Djour, Robyn Schemel and Sophie Porter. The 4×100 team of Molly Moskovitz, Jadeyn Hammes, Kierstyn Ballard and Princess Campbell also won, and Westfield finished the meet with a victory from its 4×400 team of Clark, Djour, Clara Cameron and Lizzie Hirschfield.
Moskovitz swept both hurdles events (100 and 300), while Campbell was first in the 100 and 200 dashes. Margaret Barnett won the 1600 run, Zoe Cheah took the 400 dash, Clark paced the 800 run, Mary Kate Sloan was first in the 3200 run, Alli McEvoy swept the shot put and discus and Ballard won the pole vault.
Other Shamrocks point scorers included Ashley Waller, Haley Boehm, Hallelujah Sack, Jada Henson, Amiyah Ballard, and Sydney Black.
