The Westfield girls basketball team improved to 2-0 by beating Pendleton Heights 45-20 Saturday afternoon in the Shamrocks’ home opener at CSI Gymnasium.
The game was called in the third quarter due to a power outage. Westfield already had the game in hand, leading 25-6 after the first period and 35-13 at halftime.
Lindsey Van Dyke led the ‘Rocks with 20 points, including three 3-pointers. All seven Westfield players that took to the floor scored, with Emmrey Collinsworth adding seven points. Kiki Loveless collected seven rebounds, with Aubrey Crockett pulling five. Ellie Kelleher handed out seven assists and made four steals.
The Shamrocks go back on the road Tuesday, playing at Tri-West.
