Robin Lynn (Ladwig) Green

May 26, 1961 – December 5, 2018

Robin Lynn (Ladwig) Green, 57, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at her home in Anderson. She was born on May 26, 1961 in Marion.

Robin was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed and will always be cherished. Robin’s grandchildren were her heart and joy. There’s no denying that her grandbabies, as she called them, were the people that she loved the most. “Nana,” as she liked to be called by her grandchildren, was an involved grandmother and spent countless hours following her grandsons’ activities. She was an avid reader and loved all public libraries. She would often scold her sisters about their constant use of technology to gain knowledge and reminded them that they were missing the beauty of holding a book. Robin also enjoyed all the time she spent with her loving dog, Diesel.

Survivors include her daughters, Christen Green, Seattle, Wash., and Jacqueline Green, Indianapolis; her father, Richard D. Ladwig, Marion; sisters; Lezlie (Craig) Winter, Gas City, Kim Oliver, Marion, Nan McKim, Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Gabriel Houghtalen and Zain Green, both of Indianapolis; nephews, Chris McKim, Fort Wayne, Alex Winter, Gas City and John Oliver, Marion.

Robin was born in Marion and was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy J. Dudley; step-mother, Rebecca Nell Ladwig; grandparents, Helen M. and James Smith and Naomi and Clyde Ladwig; uncles, James Smith, Jr. and John Castello, Jr.

The family would like to thank Wendy Malone and Robin’s work family at Fidelity National Title for their constant support of Robin throughout the years.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Randall and Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Friends may call an hour before the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Grant County Cancer Society: grantcountycancer.org.
