Robert E. Edwards, 85, Noblesville, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on January 20, 1938, to Ed and Evelyn (Teboe) Edwards in Westfield.
Bob worked for Firestone, Westfield Gas, and as a custodian for Westfield Washington Schools. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed turkey shoots, fishing, watching college basketball and football, and going to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s sporting events. Bob loved helping others and gave the gift of life through tissue donation.
He is survived by his daughters, Mary Elaine Wright and Teri Magers; grandchildren, James Magers, Jennifer Leneave, Erica Ashworth, Melissa (Chris) Ashworth, and Robert (Brittany) Ashworth; and great-grandchildren, Kylie Taulman, Miles Taulman, Trevon Harrington, DeAndre Harrington, Ava Phelps, and Annabelle Ratliff.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Edwards; son-in-law, Jeffrey Vincent Magers; brothers, David Edwards and Richard Edwards; and sister, Evelyn Ann Elliott.
Private family services will be held with burial at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Westfield.
