Robert D. Fesmire

November 3, 1931 – April 16, 2025

Robert D. Fesmire, 93, Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on November 3, 1931, to Clayton and Lorean (Kellum) Fesmire in Hortonville, Ind.

Robert proudly served in the United States Army. He was a farmer, a machinist, and a part owner of Overmire Machine and Foundry. Robert was a Past Master of the Masonic Lodge Hinkle 310 and a member of the Noblesville Kiwanis. Robert enjoyed being on a bowling team, was a member of the Bass Club, an avid reader, and helped with the Boy Scouts. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Bonnie Fesmire; daughter, Terri Fesmire; son, Steve (Mary) Fesmire; sister, Phyllis (Charles) Thomas; grandchildren, Josh (Amanda) Fesmire and Jake Fesmire; great-grandchild, Jackson Fesmire; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Vera Jean Carroll.

Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

    BOB WAS A GREAT FRIEND AND I HAVE ESPECIALLY GOOD MEMORIES OF OUR MANY TRIPS TO CHURCHILL DOWNS, LAS VEGAS AND BOWLING AT THE NOBLESVILLE ELKS CLUB. A GOOD MAN THAT A LOT OF US WILL CERTAINLY MISS. CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY.
