Riverview Health partners with Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital

Riverview Health and Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent have announced a partnership to enhance pediatric care provided to the community.

Through the partnership, which began in October, pediatric hospitalist physicians from Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital are providing 24/7 care for newborns and pediatric inpatients at Riverview Health in Noblesville. They are also available for emergency room consults when appropriate.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2019, this partnership will expand even more.

“In addition to care provided to pediatric inpatients and emergency room patients, families delivering babies at Riverview Health now have around-the-clock access to an on-site pediatric hospitalist physician at all times,” said Seth Warren, president and CEO at Riverview Health. “These Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital physicians have expertise in newborn care and are prepared to handle everything from normal newborn exams to more serious issues. Families giving birth at Riverview Health will continue to enjoy the unique benefits they’ve come to expect and enjoy, and this partnership will only improve their experiences.”

Riverview Health Physicians pediatrics practices – Fishers Pediatrics and Noblesville Pediatrics – are expected to remain in their current locations but will now be a part of Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital and St. Vincent Medical Group. This collaboration is designed to provide a support system that will make it easy for patients at Riverview Health to access the services of pediatric specialists with Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.

“This is a great example of community-based care that puts the needs of the patients first,” said Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital President Dr. Hossain Marandi. “This partnership will make it possible for infants and children to receive care close to home while providing convenient access to a higher level of specialized pediatric care when they need it.”

Riverview Health and St. Vincent have also partnered for several years to provide cardiovascular health services to the local community, enabling patients to receive high quality, comprehensive cardiac services close to home, with access to the team of world-renowned specialists and advanced practice providers at the St. Vincent Heart Center.
