Riverview Health Foundation provided over $1.1 million to Riverview Health in 2024.
In addition to the net proceeds from various events, such as the Gratitude Gala, these funds are an accumulation of donations and grants from many individuals, families, and businesses in the community. All funds given to Riverview Health will support programs and projects that benefit patients, families, and staff at Riverview Health. Some specific areas include the Courtney Cox Cole Infusion Center, Help for Healing Fund, Employee Assistance Fund, departments serving women and children, and the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit project.
With a campaign goal of $3 million, thanks to the generosity of its donors, Riverview Health Foundation has raised nearly $2 million towards their fundraising goal for the expansion and renovation of the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.
“For several years, the Foundation has been raising funds for this important project and will continue working with generous donors to reach our goal,” said Megan Wiles, Vice President of Foundation and Community Affairs. “I am thrilled to share that Dr. Norman and Peggy Mindrebo have provided the lead gift for this project.”
Dr. and Mrs. Mindrebo said they are ready to take part in more funding projects.
“We have been involved in several great projects, such as the garden for the Courtney Cox Cole Infusion Center, providing a maternity suite for patients and the piano that plays in the Noblesville atrium,” the Mindrebos said. “We’re excited to participate in the funding of the Riverview Health Acute Inpatient Rehab Center, knowing what a difference it’s going to make.”
Wiles continued, “There are still many opportunities for others to contribute to this important project and gifts of all sizes will help have an impact on our patients and staff.”
The growth and development of the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit will increase capacity to 24 beds and provide a more welcoming, spacious environment, which ensures that every patient receives the care they need in a setting that promotes healing and comfort. The renovation will include modernized patient rooms, expanded therapy areas equipped with the latest technology, improved communal spaces for patients and their families, and enhanced facilities for our dedicated staff to support their ongoing professional development and well-being.
