Riverview Health awarded Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program accreditation

Riverview Health has been awarded accreditation from the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), an independent accreditation organization recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Accreditation confirms that Riverview Health is providing high-quality care as determined by an independent, external process of evaluation.

“We’re proud of this accreditation as it reflects our commitment to putting patients first,” said Seth Warren, president and CEO of Riverview Health. “And putting patients first to us means not only creating a personalized healthcare experience for each patient but also ensuring it’s the highest quality.”

“Riverview Health clearly demonstrates a commitment to quality and patient safety,” said Meg Gravesmill, CEO of AAHHS, HFAP’s non-profit parent company. “We base our decision on the findings of an extensive and thorough onsite review of the hospital against recognized national standards for patient safety, quality improvement, and environmental safety. Riverview Health has earned the distinction of HFAP accreditation through its performance in successfully meeting those standards.”
