Riverview Health has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Walker as the new chief operating and strategy officer.
Walker brings more than 25 years of experience with various healthcare organizations throughout the country. Most recently, she worked as the vice president of corporate strategy with pharmaceutical company, Syneos Health. She has a strong community hospital background, including having served as the vice-president of strategic planning and physician operations with Henry Hospital, as well as having done strategy consulting work for hospitals in 49 of the 50 states.
“We’re pleased to welcome Elizabeth onto the leadership team,” Riverview Health President & CEO Dave Hyatt said. “I feel strongly that her strategy experience and expertise will be instrumental in setting Riverview Health on the right path to future success.”
Walker holds a juris doctorate, Master of Health Administration, and undergraduate degrees from Indiana University, and she is a Life Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She lives in Carmel with her family.
