The first full week of the high school volleyball season begins on Monday, and there will be some big early matches.
How about an all-county match to start the week? Hamilton Southeastern travels to Carmel on Monday for a 6:30 p.m. match. Hamilton Heights will play two county rivals: Guerin Catholic on Tuesday and Sheridan on Thursday. The Huskies were the first Hamilton County team to play, taking on Greenfield-Central on Saturday. Heights lost to the Cougars 25-22, 25-15, 25-13.
The Golden Eagles will play their first match Monday, traveling to Heritage Christian. Also on Monday, University hosts Traders Point Christian Academy, while Westfield heads to Yorktown.
On Tuesday, Sheridan hosts Clinton Central to start the season. Fishers travels to Lawrence Central for its opener, while Noblesville heads to North Central to begin its season.
