Guerin Catholic’s season came to an end at the Class 3A Sectional 27 at Brebeuf Jesuit Friday, as the Golden Eagles fell to Cardinal Ritter 49-39 in a semi-final game.
Guerin led 23-20 at halftime, but the Raiders outscored the Golden Eagles 29-16 in the second half. Sydney Geis and Nicole Cunningham both scored 15 points for Guerin Catholic, with Geis making 11 of 13 free throw attempts. Danielle Mason and Olivia Labus both pulled six rebounds.
The Golden Eagles finished their season with a 6-18 record.
