The Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse and Suicide (ICPYAS) will welcome Kristen Boice as the keynote speaker for the Virtual Rise Up for Kids Breakfast on April 28. Boice, a Noblesville resident, will speak about resilience, thriving and hope.
“We are most excited to have this breakfast in person again after transitioning to virtual events for the past two years,” said Maggie Owens, Director of Education and Community Relations at ICPYAS. “Additionally, we are pleased to have Kristen join us as our speaker. Kristen has a unique perspective, a positive and encouraging attitude, and we are so excited have her share with all of us.”
Finally back in person this year, this event supports ICPYAS and youth abuse and suicide programs in central Indiana. It also provides an opportunity for attendees to network and hear more about how ICPYAS programs impact the community.
“We think it is important to have this event annually in April as it aligns with Child Abuse Prevention Month,” Owens said. “Education and Prevention is the foundation of what we believe in, and this event allows us to share important and life-saving information as well as raise awareness for an often not talked about problem we see in our communities. The true objective of the event is to raise awareness and funds to further our mission to end youth abuse and suicide in Indiana.”
