RipFest Diving will be hosting a Talent ID Open House on Oct. 7, 14, 21 at their world headquarters of 108 Olive St., Arcadia.
RipFest is looking for young athletes that are interested in learning how to dive or to improve their diving skills. Testing will be from 9 to 11 a.m. each Saturday. Two types of Talent ID tests will be conducted: USA Diving Future Champions and USA Diving Champion Challenges.
USA Diving Future Champions is for any child ages 5 to 15 that has never been involved in Diving. USA Diving Champions Challenge is for any diver ages 5 to 15 that has six months or more of diving experience. Evaluations will take approximately 30 minutes. Dress is T-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes; parents will need to be present to sign a waiver.
For test participants, a Free one-hour diving lesson will be offered each Saturday at Hamilton Heights High School from 11 a.m. to noon.
