Ride your way to some Christmas spirit on the Nickel Plate Express

Nickel Plate Express (NPX) announces that tickets for the beloved Reindeer Express Train Ride are now on sale for the 2024 holiday season. This year’s event promises even more festive fun with exciting new features and returning favorites.

New for 2024, complimentary hot chocolate will be served to all passengers, thanks to the generous support of Coffee at the Crossing in McCordsville. Passengers can now enjoy a warm cup of holiday cheer while they ride through northern Hamilton County’s winter landscape.

Also joining the fun this year are the Reindeer Wranglers, a dynamic duo of Santa’s Head Reindeer Elves. These expert Wranglers know everything about reindeer, from magical flying ones to real-life counterparts. They’ll be making their way through each car, sharing fun facts and stories about Santa’s trusted companions.

“The Reindeer Express has become a holiday tradition for many families, and we’re excited to add these new features that will make it even more memorable,” NPX Executive Director Emily Reynolds said. “The fresh storyline, interactive activities, and, of course, Santa himself are sure to delight passengers of all ages.”

Throughout the journey, passengers will remain cozy in their seats while enjoying holiday treats, including cookies, festive entertainment, and a special meet-and-greet with Santa Claus. The Reindeer Express runs on select days from Nov. 16 through Dec. 23.

Tickets are on sale now at NickelPlateExpress.com. With the high demand for this holiday favorite, guests are encouraged to secure their seats early.
