Richard (Rick) A. Lusiak

May 9, 1972 – December 3, 2020

Richard (Rick) A. Lusiak, 48, Westfield, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 9, 1972 to Richard and Myra (Claunch) Lusiak in Park Ridge, Ill.

Rick was the CEO and Founder of BREAKWALL Technology with a 22-year career in the medical device field. He received his Bachelor of Science from Indiana University Bloomington and was an active member of the Delta Chi Fraternity. Rick loved music (Grateful Dead, Dead & Company, Mister Blotto, Robert Randolph and the Family Band to name just a few). He was an avid sports fan with a passion for Chicago Teams (Black Hawks, Cubs and the Bears). Rick was an exceptional golfer, soccer player and a chef.

He is survived by his wife, Abigale Wheat-Lusiak; father, Richard Lusiak; mother- and father-in-law, Barbara and Lawrence Wheat; sister, Kimberly (Chris) Ketcham; sisters-in-law, Heather (Burton) Largura and Gina Bozzelli-Wheat; brother-in-law, Emerson (Shamaine) Wheat; and nieces and nephews, Mirabella and Joseph Largura, Liliana and Alexandra Wheat, and Lacey, Alex and Adam Ketcham.

Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Myra Lusiak; and his brother-in-law, Blair Wheat.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. EST on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. A private service will follow.

The family requests those attending wear masks and practice social distancing.
