Richard “Gene” Arbuckle, 79, Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at his home. He was born on March 30, 1939 to Lyman and Dorothy (Scott) Arbuckle in Warsaw, Ky.
Gene, a loving husband, father and friend, retired after 22 years from Bridgestone Firestone where he was a machine operator. He enjoyed working on things in his garage such as cars and lawnmowers.
Gene is survived by his wife, Sandra “Sandy” Cummins Arbuckle, whom he married on January 22, 1982; daughter, Michelle (Mike) Stevens; son, Michael (Audrey) Arbuckle; brother, Ursel (Mickey) Carlisle; and granddaughters, Allison and Erin Stevens.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Arbuckle.
Randall & Roberts Funeral Home will hold a Celebration of Life from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 825 S. 11th St., Noblesville, with interment at Crownland Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to The National Kidney Foundation of Indiana, 911 E. 86th St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
