The Indiana Federated Republican Women’s (HCFRW) President, Suzanne Heinzmann presented the 2016 Diamond Achievement Award to the Hamilton County Federation of Republican Women’s Club Thursday evening.

Over the course of 2016 the HCFRW Board and Club members worked to bring attention to local Republican Women and supported the local GOP. HCFRW President Jennifer Templeton submitted the achieved points in January to IFRW which only 75 points were required to meet the Diamond award requirements.

Hamilton County’s club set a goal in March of 2016 to make sure they met the Diamond award.

“I was unsure if we could meet the required 75 points, but my ladies did an awesome job and brought our club in at a point goal of 133,” Templeton said. “We had 25 members that either ran for office, pc or delegate and had 31 members that when the call came to help out with campaigns they showed up sometimes more than once.”

After an amazing first year as president, Templeton said she was honored to represent all the hard-working club board and members in receiving of the award.

HCFRW has recently applied to the National Federation of Republican Women award “Caring for American.” The RIGHT NOW campaign that kicked off in February of this year has made the club eligible for this award. Whether or not the club received an award from the NFRW, it has been blessed to run and bring attention to locals about the needs of others in our community while supporting those who just need a little more TLC.
