The Chris Center, 1721 Wood Valley Drive, Carmel, recently added an alpaca program to its list of ways to help teens find emotional wellness.

While working on an article about the Alpaca Adventure Program early this month, the Reporter learned that there was a need for financial assistance for some young people who would benefit from the program but could not afford it. Hamilton County’s Hometown Newspaper stepped up and provided scholarship money so more youths can get help when struggling with mental and emotional wellbeing.

The Reporter’s contribution will pay for several students to attend programs this spring, summer and fall. If you would also like to help the 501(c)(3) non-profit continue to do its good work, please call The Chris Center CEO and Founder Nancy Elbert at (630) 363-1400.
