Congresswoman Victoria Spartz (R-Ind.-05) on Tuesday sent a letter to President Biden to bring attention to recent developments in Ukraine, including additional concerns surrounding Ukrainian President Zelensky’s Chief of Staff, Andriy Yermak.
Congresswoman Spartz urged the Biden Administration to establish a Joint Task Force within the Department of Defense to implement a coherent strategy, proper oversight of critical infrastructure, and streamlined logistics of lethal aid.
This letter is a follow up to Congresswoman Spartz’s letter to the Biden Administration on July 8, where she requested the Biden Administration brief Congress on Andriy Yermak, Ukrainian President Zelensky’s Chief of Staff.
The lack of appointment of an anti-corruption prosecutor, concerns raised by U.S. military personnel and defense contractors, as well as some NATO allies, raise national security concerns and require proper attention from the Biden Administration.
