On Monday, Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-Ind.-05) kicked off her Farm Bill listening tour with a roundtable in Howard County at the Downing family farm in Greentown and speaking at the Hamilton County Farm Bureau policy meeting. Rep. Spartz will continue her listening tour throughout the rest of the Fifth District this week.
“Agriculture plays a major economic role in the Fifth District economy,” Rep. Spartz said. “It’s always important to hear directly from the ground on issues affecting our producers and raising food security concerns.”
Every five years, Congress reauthorizes legislation to set national agriculture, nutrition, conservation, and forestry policy, commonly referred to as the “Farm Bill.” Feel free to contact Rep. Spartz’s office with input or submit comments to the House Committee on Agriculture.
