On Friday evening, it was announced on Congresswoman Victoria Spartz’s Facebook page that she had received a full endorsement from former President Donald J. Trump.

In his endorsement, Trump called Spartz a “strong advocate for the people of Indiana’s 5th District.”
Trump continued, “Victoria is working hard to Grow our Economy, Secure the Border, Hold Big Tech Accountable, Promote American Farmers and Manufacturers, Defend the Second Amendment, and Support our Military, Vets and Law Enforcement. Victoria Spartz has my Complete and Total Endorsement!”
In the social media post, Rep. Spartz thanked the former president and reminded voters to participate in primary election this coming Tuesday, May 3.
I have voted Republican for 40+ years, until the last election because I saw the idiocy of the former president and his followers and could not condone their behavior. I still voted Republican for most other offices but this year I am looking at candidates and must assume if they accept his endorsements they are doing it just for their own power and not to represent us. I did not spend 28+ years in the military fighting for our freedom in 2 wars to watch someone try to take down our government from the inside for their own gain. Ms Spartz may have lost my vote as well as the votes of those that I can influence.
