Rep. Spartz appointed to Affordability Subcommittee of Health Care Task Force

Congresswoman Victoria Spartz (R-Ind.-05) has been appointed to serve alongside Reps. Kevin Hern (R-Okla.-01) and Rick Allen (R.-Ga.-12) on the Affordability Subcommittee of the Healthy Future Task Force. This subcommittee will explore value-based solutions to lower health care costs for Americans.

“We need to deliver real policies to improve health care affordability and value,” said Rep. Spartz. “I worked on these important issues for Hoosiers at the Statehouse, and I look forward to developing meaningful solutions in Congress.”

The Task Force is chaired by Reps. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.-22) and Brett Guthrie (R.Ky.-02).

“The Healthy Future Task Force is taking action to modernize, personalize, and improve health care for all Americans,” said Reps. Guthrie and Nunes. “These five new Republican subcommittees are developing real solutions to empower patients, lower costs, and expand choices and treatments for a healthier America. We will also strengthen U.S. medical production to reduce our dependence on other countries and the Chinese Communist Party for medical supplies. Americans deserve better than Democrats’ ineffective, one-size-fits-all, government-run health care system.”
