Rep. Cook, Gov. Holcomb award Westfield business

Ashpaugh Electric, Inc. on Wednesday at the Statehouse received the Governor’s Half Century Business Award for its longevity and sustained investment in the community, according to State Rep. Tony Cook (R-Cicero).

Cook said Westfield-based Ashpaugh Electric provides electrical installation and repair services.

“Since 1965, Ashpaugh Electric has served Hamilton County and surrounding areas,” Cook said. “Family-owned small businesses like this help cultivate strong, positive relationships within our community and support the economy in many ways. Ashpaugh Electric is an exemplary managed and customer service oriented business that is highly respected in Hamilton County.”

The Governor’s Century and Half Century Business Awards honor Hoosier businesses that have remained in operation for a minimum of 100 or 50 consecutive years and have demonstrated a commitment to community service. Visit iedc.in.gov to learn more.
