You can help locally on Nov. 30 by donating to the Friends of Hamilton County Emergency Services, also known as HC CERT Services. Deb Miller, HC CERT Services Board Member, said, “Our non-profit organization supports the Hamilton County Emergency Management Community Emergency Response Team program by providing resources for training and promoting the Team.”

“CERT is a local program to train volunteers in preparedness and emergency response to support our communities throughout Hamilton County,” said Shane Booker, Executive Director of Hamilton County Emergency Management. “We are excited to partner with HC CERT Services to ensure the teams throughout the county can help in their neighborhoods until help arrives.  They also provide support to their communities by staffing warming centers, setting up shelters, conducting damage assessments, and supporting special events.”
