The City of Fishers is constantly working to create meaningful opportunities for residents to connect with our team. City Government Academy (CGA) is an ideal opportunity for residents to gain a new perspective on their community. The ten-week program allows residents to connect with City leaders, earn a greater understanding of day-to-day operations and to get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at many of Fishers’ unique facilities and departments.
Highlights during the CGA program almost always include a tour of the Fishers DPW wastewater treatment plant, an evening learning about Fishers Parks & Recreation at Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve and opportunities to meet Fishers’ public safety teams. A complete schedule of meetings and locations can be found at www.Fishers.in.us/CGA, along with an online registration form. Registration is available on a first come, first served basis, and is due by Sept. 8.
Participation in CGA is free, but registration is required. Special accommodations, such as ASL interpreters can be arranged. Please contact Dan Domsic by email at domsicd@fishers.in.us or by phone at (317) 595-3151.
