Rebecca “Becky” (Solomon) Aberle

April 1, 1949 – December 16, 2017

Rebecca “Becky” (Solomon) Aberle, 68, passed at her home in Noblesville on December 16, 2017 following a two-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born to Wayne “Fritz” and Jean Solomon on April 1, 1949 in Shelbyville, and grew up in Blue Ridge, Ind.

Becky was a graduate of Waldron High School and Ball State University where she majored in English. She taught English and Speech. Becky married Mark Aberle on June 1, 1974. She volunteered at Noblesville Schools and was an active member of Faith Community Church in Noblesville. Becky went on a variety of mission trips and enjoyed working with Habitat for Humanity. She enjoyed painting ceramics, baking brownies and gardening.

Becky is survived by her son, John Aberle; mother, Jean; siblings, David Solomon, Elizabeth Arthur and Tom Solomon; sister-in-law, Carol Jelen; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Mark, in 2011; and her father, Fritz, in 2009.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 30 at Faith Community Church in Noblesville. Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes has been entrusted with Becky’s care.
