Reader: Stop personal attacks

Dear Editor:

A disturbing trend is beginning to appear in our local primary campaigns. Instead of concentrating on the issues, personal attacks on character are becoming the order of the day. Are we destined to mimic what is going on at the national level in Washington, D.C. politics?

If this hits a nerve STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING! I think as a county we can all do better. A clean campaign devoid of mudslinging, based on accurate data, proven track records, defined plans for the direction of the county and our individual aspirations for a better Hamilton County should govern how we conduct ourselves in the finest county in the state of Indiana, if not the entire nation!
