Dear Editor:
It was twelve years ago to the month that Officer Quakenbush saved my life and made me a better person, husband and father.
He really cares about the people and making a difference in this community. It meant more to him than getting an arrest or giving me a ride in his cruiser – he wasn’t leaving the scene until he knew I was safe and going to get help.
This guy really cares about the people, and that’s why he’s getting my vote. My life wouldn’t be what it is today if he didn’t keep me off that motorcycle.
