Dear Editor:

I’m a follower of Christ and a mom, a Nana, a wife, a volunteer, a civic leader, a business owner, lead a charity, a taxpayer, and a voter.

Wearing all these hats and objectively looking at the school board election data, there is only one conclusion to arrive at. I support Dawson, Helvey, and Hanley for the three open school board openings, and I am asking you to join me in supporting them, too.

As a conservative Christian, I am called to pray over those in leadership, but I’m also called to pray over how I cast my vote. In doing so I can’t in good conscious vote for a candidate with a history of liberal positions and a history of donating heavily to liberal PACs, causes, and candidates, even if they are nice people. We see the world differently.

I support conservative oversight when it comes to our children, grandchildren, and teachers. Please vote like you would if you were hiring someone to watch your baby – because you are. I choose new people who I know will watch our kids like they were their own and watch our tax dollars for all of us.

Please join me and vote for Dawson, Helvey and Hanley.
