Raymond Larry Potter

July 1, 1950 – August 8, 2018

Raymond Larry Potter, 68, Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on July 1, 1950 to Marvin Potter in Huntsville, Ala.

Larry proudly served in the United States Army. He worked for Rex’s Camera Shop in Peoria, Ill., for over 20 years. Larry attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He was an avid reader, enjoyed music and liked to travel.

Larry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marcia Potter; father, Marvin H. Potter; sons, Brian Potter, Michael Potter and David Potter; brothers, Marvin (Sharon) Potter and Allen (Linda) Potter; step-mother, Nancy Potter; brother, James Potter; grandchildren, Chris, Justin, Cameron, Jacob and Christina; great-grandchild, Jay; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Ron and Marian Shurts, Margaret Gray, and Mike and June Nohitsch; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, Mildred and Ceibert Cunningham.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Randall and Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 E. 191st St., Noblesville.

An additional memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 410 LaSalle Blvd., Marquette Heights, Ill.
