Cool Creek Park was rocking last Friday night as The Flying Toasters returned with a powerful, high-energy performance. Despite the wet weather, fans came prepared with umbrellas, ponchos, and an unwavering enthusiasm that matched the band’s electric presence on stage.

The Flying Toasters delivered an outstanding set packed with classic rock and pop favorites from the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s. They kicked off the evening with Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together,” and also played crowd favorites like Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary” and Prince’s “Purple Rain.”

Each band member had a chance to shine, showcasing their musical talent and keeping the crowd energized throughout the night. Their seamless transitions and standout solos proved once again why they’re a Cool Creek favorite.

The 2025 Cool Creek Summer Concert Series continues with Classic Rock Experience on June 20, Mike and Joe on July 11, Uptown Funk on July 18, and Echoes of Pompeii on Aug. 1.

Hamilton County Parks and Recreation thanks everyone who came out to support live music. Special thanks to the sponsors who make these concerts possible: Coxhall Guild, Academy Sports + Outdoors, IU Health, Keeler-Webb, Sobczak Construction Services, Compass Realty, BEE Window, Envoy, Etica Group, Fredericks, Ruoff Mortgage, and The National Bank of Indianapolis.
