Editor’s note: The following is a statement from Sheriff Dennis Quakenbush regarding his announcement to run for re-election.

Quakenbush

I am pleased to announce I am running for re-election for the office of Sheriff of Hamilton County, Indiana. As your Sheriff, I have devoted my first term to working together with you to ensure Hamilton County remains one of the safest in the nation. I am asking for your support as I continue our mission to ‘Keep Hamilton County Safe.’

The last few years have brought new threats to our quality of life and challenges for law enforcement. You have rallied behind the 240-plus men and women of the Sheriff’s Office as we have renewed and strengthened our resolve to protect and serve Hamilton County. I’m proud of our accomplishments and while we know the agency has never been stronger, there is a lot of work yet to do.

You are crucial to keeping Hamilton County safe. Will you join the ‘Push for Quakenbush’ and tell everyone you know to ‘Push for Quakenbush’ at the ballot box to Keep Hamilton County Safe?

Dennis Quakenbush is a life-long resident of Hamilton County. He has been serving at the Sheriff’s Office since 2001. He currently lives in Cicero with his wife Christen and four sons. He holds a master’s degree in business administration and he and his wife own two small businesses. To find out more, please visit sheriffquakenbush.com
