Purdue Extension Hamilton County is sponsoring an all-day “Science Fun Camp” and a half-day “I Can Do It Camp” during spring break for anyone having a “staycation” this year.
Science Fun Camp
Do you want something educational and different to do over Spring Break? Purdue Extension and the Life Science team is sponsoring a fun-filled, hands-on educational program for youth in grades 3 through 5.
The one-day camp will be held from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26.
During camp, youth will have the opportunity to learn from local science experts and Purdue University staff in the following areas: Chemistry, Computer Science, Health Science, Plant Science, Water Science and Art Science.
Registration and a $50 fee are due by Wednesday, March 20. Space is limited so don’t delay.
I Can Do It Camp
Not going away for Spring Break and need something to do? The “I Can Do It Camp” is a fun-filled, hands-on educational program for youth in grades 3 and 4.
The half-day camp will be held from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Monday, March 25.
During camp, youth will have the opportunity to learn “Heritage Skills” with Purdue staff, volunteers and Hamilton County Extension Homemakers in the following areas: Fun with Food, Paper Quilling, and Flowers & Gardens.
Registration and a $20 fee are due by Wednesday, March 20. Space is limited so don’t delay.
