Purdue Extension Hamilton County presents annual sewing/quilting seminar

The Purdue Extension Service of Hamilton County will offer their annual sewing/quilting seminar from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2003 Pleasant St., Noblesville.

A $17 registration fee includes a day of presentations and demonstrations on useful tools, sewing and quilting techniques, yarns and creative ideas; lunch; vendor displays; and much more. Registration is open to any interested person. Participants must submit their registration form to the Purdue Extension Hamilton County Office no later than Friday, Oct. 5. Space is limited to the first 200 persons. Guest speakers and topics will include: Capi Saxton and Cindy Ogle, Cuddle More than your Baby; Lynn Hodge, Cartonnage – Fabulous Fiber Fun; Deborah Rubles, Quilters Cutting Guide; Alice Ridge, Quilting from the Hardware Store; Terri Gunn, Dresden Plate, Service for 8; Claudia Lash, Embellishing Quilts with Beads & Buttons and Shirley Liby, Magic in Miniatures. Vendors also will be available for shopping.
