Stony Creek Elementary will hold a public open house from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29 in honor of its 50th anniversary this year.
The event will feature food, music, art and commemorations, as well as an opportunity for current and former Stony Creek students, staff and parents to reminisce.
“This school has a rich history in Noblesville and we’re proud that many of today’s community leaders and residents have a Stony Creek connection,” shared Principal Heidi Karst. “This celebration is an opportunity to welcome those who love Stony Creek home and to give the public an opportunity to see what the school is like today.”
The Stony Creek 50th anniversary this year will lead into a yearlong community-wide celebration beginning next summer in honor of 150 years of Noblesville Schools. More information on the 150th anniversary festivities will be shared next year.
