PrimeLife Enrichment appoints Gary Wagner as executive director

The Board of Directors of PrimeLife Enrichment in Carmel has announced the appointment of Gary L. Wagner as PrimeLife’s new Executive Director.

Wagner

Wagner joined the organization in November 2018 as its Chief Development Officer. Upon the retirement of former Executive Director Linda Handy in November 2020, he became the interim director and guided PrimeLife through the many challenges of the COVID pandemic. His appointment as full-time Executive Director was effective April 23.

“I want to thank Board President Marcia Claerbout and our entire Board for their show of confidence in appointing me as Executive Director,” Wagner said. “I look forward to working with our Board and our tremendous staff as we keep PrimeLife Enrichment moving forward to better meet the evolving needs of our senior population. I know we still have many challenges ahead of us, but I am confident that working together, we will keep PrimeLife Enrichment moving forward as we serve the seniors of Hamilton County.”

Wagner brings over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector to his new position. Key senior management positions he has held in other nonprofit organizations include Chief Development Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Executive Director.
