Prevail, Inc. is pleased to announce that its 2018 Signature Gala, presented by Hare Chevrolet, was another successful opportunity to engage the community in providing hope and healing for friends and neighbors who need it. Thanks to supporters, this year’s event raised over $200,000 for victims and to prevent future violence in the community.

In addition to Presenting Sponsor Hare Chevrolet, the event was sponsored by Partner Sponsors St. Vincent Hospital and Scooch, and Companion Sponsor The Grainger Foundation as well as Biddle Memorial Foundation.

The evening began with a cocktail hour and signature drink, the Courage Cuvee, sponsored by Gregor Private Wealth Group and Mr. G’s Liquors. Sun King Brewery also provided selections from their locally brewed beer list.  Dinner followed, where attendees had an opportunity to purchase a golden ticket that provided them with a chance at the live auction item of their choice. The winners chose an exclusive culinary experience in Tuscany, Italy, with all expenses, including airfare, included.

During dinner, attendees enjoyed a program with a presentation from a courageous speaker, Christina Parker-Benton, who credits Prevail with restoring her hope.  The program was emceed by John Freed of Waterline Church and included a live auction with auctioneer Mark Volk.

Dessert was an assortment of delicious cupcakes provided by Heavenly Sweets. To top the night off, all enjoyed dancing with The Bishops, sponsored by Wolfie’s Grill. The Renaissance Hotel North was a lovely setting for this event, which would not happen without an extraordinary Gala Planning Committee who works all year to make it possible.

Prevail would like to thank all of those sponsors who make this event possible, in addition to media sponsors, The Current and Davant.

Next year, Hare Chevrolet will once again present Prevail’s Signature Event to be held on Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Renaissance Hotel in Carmel. Sponsorship Opportunities are available now. Contact Natasha Robinson at (317) 773-6942 or natasha@prevailinc.com.

Since 1986, Prevail has assisted over 45,000 victims of crime and abuse in putting the pieces of their lives back together. In 2017, Prevail provided programs and services to over 3,400 survivors. This is a 15 percent increase over the number of people served in 2016 and the largest number of individuals served in one year in the history of the agency.

Hats off to my sister Natasha Robinson, without your hard work and dedication to Prevail, this event would not be so successful. Yet another year that you’ve shown your level of commitment to your community. For those whom are unaware, Natasha is the key to planning this event. She spends countless hours away from her own family to make the Prevail Gala such a huge success every year. Ask anyone that works at Prevail a question about the the Gala, they will “ALL” immediately direct you to Natasha. For many years you have not received the recognition (in my book) that you so deserve. Congratulations sister, you smashed it yet again! Over $200,000 raised!
