April is Sexual Assault Prevention month

Join Prevail and other local businesses in recognizing the voices of survivors of violence in Hamilton County by offering a virtual space to display the Clothesline Project on your business’s social media, website or any other space.

The Clothesline Project Art Installation is a display of shirts with messages and illustrations created by individuals who have experienced crime or abuse. The color of the shirt represents the type of crime or abuse which impacted them.

The purpose of the Clothesline Project is to increase awareness of the impact of violence and to give survivors an avenue for breaking the silence that often surrounds crimes like sexual assault and domestic violence. Now is a crucial time to show your support for those impacted by crime or abuse. These individuals face new challenges this year while our country experiences the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prevail is inviting the community to join by sharing customized images of T-shirts created by individuals who have used Prevail services. This can be done for a day, week, month, or whatever time frame you would like. Prevail will create a custom media kit for you and recognize your business for your support.

According to Prevail staff, the project is a healing tool for survivors and an educational tool for the community. It creates community and connection.
