At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a shooting near the 21000 block of Overdorf Road in Noblesville.
The victim, Christopher Stumpf, 18, Cicero, was transported to Riverview Health and tragically succumbed to his injury.
A preliminary investigation indicates Stumpf suffered a single gunshot wound to the back. He was seated in the front passenger seat of a vehicle in a residential driveway. According to police, all persons of interest have been contacted and there is not an ongoing threat to the community.
