Phillip Allen Elwood, 69, Noblesville, passed away peacefully in his home, with his loving family surrounding him on February 4, 2020, following a long and courageous battle with renal cell carcinoma. He was born December 31, 1950 in Hartford City, Ind., son of the late Odus and Irene (Murray) Elwood.
As a Vietnam veteran, Phil proudly served his country in the United States Air Force (USAF).
In addition to his parents, Phil was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Elwood; sisters, Donna Perry and twin sister, Phyllis Flynn; and eldest grandson, Evan Ara Elwood.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Tina (Cook); son, Chad (Maral) Elwood; daughter, Christy (Merrill) Murphy; grandchildren, Joshua, Micah, Olivia and Sarah; and sister, Nancy (Don) Edwards.
