Peter ‘Wayne’ Jones, 69, Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at home. He was born on September 1, 1948 to Arlie Elbert and Mary Alice (Risco) Jones in Saint Charles, Va.
Wayne retired in 2003 from Ford Motor Company, where he had worked for 35 years. He loved to play cards and had enjoyed hunting and fishing all of his life. He was a life-member of the Bass Anglers Sportman Society and had competed in bass fishing tournaments for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Candace (Bond) Jones; sons, Jon (Amy) Jones and Leif Jones; siblings, Arlene Jones, Robert Earl (Lynn) Jones and Debbie Suursoo; several nieces and nephews; and one grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Therman Jones.
A Celebration of Life service will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville.
