Most recently, Williams was appointed to the Noblesville Youth Sports Alliance by Jensen. The alliance was formed between 15 youth sports organizations as a collaborative partnership designed to enhance programming and engagement for current and future residents. Williams serves as a liaison between the alliance and the mayor’s office. He has previously served on the Noblesville Youth Baseball Board of Directors.

“Perry will be a great asset to the Noblesville Township Board,” Jensen said.

Williams has vast experience in local economic development. He served on the Noblesville Main Street Board from 2014 until 2018 and was president of the board for two years. He was appointed by former Noblesville Mayor John Ditslear in 2019 to serve on the Hamilton County Tourism Board, where he is still active.

Williams has also been heavily involved in working with the community’s youth. He served as President of the Hamilton County Youth Assistance Board for two years. He is also a high school sports broadcaster for Hamilton County TV.

Williams was born and raised in Noblesville and graduated from Noblesville High School in 1969. He later received a degree in industrial technology from Indiana State University in 1974.

“I want to help serve the Noblesville Township community for the children and families who need our services the most,” Williams said. “I want to ensure we do our work in an efficient and responsible manner with kindness and compassion. I want to be part of a team that works well together and continues to do great work for the citizens of Noblesville.”
